Seems like you have, but I'm no Optician - Didn't you think to ask there and then?
By the time I came back from another test (with another person), the Optician was in with another customer!

A squint is certainly not a disability though when I'm on duty as I can cover more than one suspect at a time when they are standing in front of me.
I often get asked "Are you looking at me?" and I always say "yes".

So, that's Assessment, Medical and Fitness passed. Fingers crossed for vetting and a late July intake date!

Just for reference, my eyes were ok
Although, I may switch to contacts.

Great news mate, at least a huge chunk of the process is out of the way now.

Thanks Waddle. Where you at the Harpenden Carnival yesterday?

I tend to wear contacts when on duty, do find they start to annoy when on nights, so only pop them in before I go in. Spare specs in the kit
Nice work on passing everything.

Yep, that's what I would do. I'm guessing not having the specs on makes things a little easier!

I should have come and said hi. But, I was gobsmacked at the lack of carnival at the carnival. It gets worse by the year. A sign of the times no doubt. Oh well. As I left, I noticed a few blues and twos coming and going!
"The pointy finger" is not as big as my face really!
Should have said Hi, its always good to put faces to names. I did hear the odd comment about the carnival, especially as we were told there is usually about 8,000 in attendance.....2,000 tops I would have thought.
