Hi,

Just a quick question,
Does the city still issue whistes with 'London City Police' stamped in them under 'The metropolitan', or are the whistles as per most other whistles with just 'The metropolitan'

Any help would be great.

I believe the current issue is a plastic referee-style whistle, not the Metropolitan.

The City Police haven't issued anything other than a standard plastic "Mighty Thunderer" type for at least the last 12 years. I know that my super has a proper police whistle with City Police on it, but he's been in for decades!
