Hey HampshireDave, nice one! I've been meaning to say that since the site went down, but I saw your message on your process this far, I suppose an advantage is that your in similar stages as Forcey and I, so at least you have some company going through the process. Any news on the Induction A?

Yep, got my Induction A on Wednesday 16th May from 1800 to 2100 hours. I'm already looking forward to it! It would seem my picture for my warrant card is being taken, along with my fingerprints being taken as well. Have you any news on Induction A at all?

Hi all. so glad this site is back up now.
Looks like im a month behind you guys, ive sent my vetting forms off today, just waiting on my gp for my medical forms. all my knowledge checks are in and acknowledged so im hoping to be on the june induction. got told it was june 24th but waiting confirmation. out of interest are you all looking to do your gateway modules ay netley or are you gonna try at your local station.
Please make sure you all let me know how your induction goes next week, its good to see feedback from those just one stage ahead.

Yeah, from what it sounds you are just behind us Dan, I sent my forms off early April, my GP just signed my medical form, and sent it in the day after. Hopefully your medical form comes quickly! Regarding the gateway modules, we won't probably know how it works till next Wednesday, so I'll let you know here what the score is then. And yes, I'll keep you updated, and I can't agree more regarding getting feedback from others, its invaluable!

Yeah, I'm coming from North Hampshire, and I'm leaving about 3.30ish, grabbing supper in the Tesco on the way to Southern HQ, because, anytime after 4.30pm, the M3 South of Winchester, and the M27 is a nightmare.... But hopefully it should be alright for this occasion!

Oh yeah, I may do the same, 'Hey, I'm chaser23'. I'll sort something out, like what tie I'm wearing makes it easier for you to recognise me!

I hope to be based at Farnborough station or Fleet, but mainly Farnborough. It would just be nice to police the area I grew up in!

Yup, Basingstoke since like you with Farnborough, its the town that I've grew up in! Tadley is my second choice. Farnborough, I understand you'll get a lot of goings on, so not bad not bad!

Booked them all, then used Holiday at work You can get it done fast, as long as you don't miss any, they seem to run most sessions once or twice a month

Farnborough has been closing for a while, just waiting on the move of TPT to Aldershot which will be soon. Aldershot is alot nicer now they've redecorated

I thought that would be the case too, practically everyone I've spoken to on my assessment and fitness tests all wanted to be posted at Southampton Central, because that's where the action happens I understand. But its good to get a couple of Northerners to balance this out . Hopefully, we'll all work together sometime!

I have to say Mayday, I'm quite surprised at the gap between the assessment and your JRFT, but thinking about my timescale, its about the same as mine. A year and a half looks a reasonable timescale for the process, unless Mayday, is it quicker in the later stages?

I think the length can be put down to the fact that half way through, they have a system change. I remember for about roughly 2 weeks Recruitment phoneline constantly went to Voicemail and they didn't asnwer to any Emails for a period.

Gateway is a new training system too, I believe my group was one of the first to go through it from what i've been told from Trainers.
