Currently in bed. My daughter has just announced I am not cooking today as a table has been booked for dinner out.

I won't be with my Mum as she has gone back to Greece. :vom:

Just walked 4 miles to Cancer Research only to find my manager has not opened, was begged to come in as no other staff were working. No call, text or email. Not happy.

Just woke up from a well deserved night sleep after dealing with Welsh fans yesterday. Some of the states they were in yesterday was embarressing, not only for themselves if they could see themselves but also just an embarressment overall.

I woke up to find a nice recreation of a wintery scene in readybrek all over the kitchen, a pile of vomit on my youngest son's bedroom carpet and the dogchewing on one of the flip-flops I wear around the house.

I've just boil-washed all the whites and hung them on the line only to find my eldest son's school shirt still screwed up under his bed and the guy on the radio telling me it's going to rain in the next hour or so!

Oh, also the lid fell off the shaker as I was flavouring todays chicked with a subtle hint of paprika. Dinner is going to be a nice shade of dark orange now!

Aside from that all is well at Derf Towers.

Well my car is falling apart for a third time in 2 weeks this is after I decided to sell it and buy a new car, water pump and back breaks exploded so it got dragged off for pricey service where everything was fixed and I was told car was ship shape! (probably not the right shape for a car!) then I put car back on market with shiny new parts.... then the exhaust falls off... car gets taken off market again! exhaust fixed yesterday, car put back on market, driven it today and it doesn't feel right, losing pressure.... grrr much! I'm not going to have enough money left for the new car I've just bought!

Just read that the Royal Navy are getting a new uniform... It's being trialed on HMS Daring. If it goes through (which it likely will), I'm gonna miss those number fours and the scratchy jumpers. I wonder if the Cadet forces will get them too.

Sounds like a typical scene from most towns on a Saturday night. Still, it's nice to have something to celebrate as a nation, the chance doesn't come along too often.
