Is this a cannabis plant? It certainly smelt like one, just wanted to double check.

Looks similar to one but I couldn't say for sure. If it smelled like one though, it probably was.

It looks like one, but isn't crystallized.

They usually look a lot more 'sparkly'.

I don't think I've ever seen it growing in that sort of place. I'm only used to seeing them in grow factories where they're grown big and bushy.

After seeing that picture I highly doubt it.

That looks like a plant, the leaves seem to be at the top rather than growing out at all points.

Where is it? I have seen them growing in woods in the middle of nowhere (called 'guerilla growing')

So, close but not cannabis. That would have been ironically funny though :)

*or it might just have been an image I found on Google

Damsel - might be a bit before your time - but some rouges from Bath University planted Cannabis in the flower pots outside Bath Nick in the mid 90's! So it can pop up anywhere!

Not that I had a misspent youth, but my friends used to buy hemp seeds in the pet food shop. I think they are fed to parrots.

So they told me, they used to go around planting them to get immature laughs when they started to germinate. That included around the school, outside the police station and in old people's gardens. The THC content of such plants is minimal and you probably wouldn't get high off of the plants. But they look like cannabis plants and the ones in the picture.

Not clever.

If it is the odd plant that you find, rather than a factory with a resident 'gardener', then you are probably not dealing with a organised crime syndicat and you may wish to apply some common sense in terms of how you deal with it.
