As you can see our new forum software is all installed and working... I have spent some time checking everything and as far as I can tell, things are working as they should.
However, if you have any problems or issues, comments good or bad, then please let me know in this thread.
Muchos gracias

It used to be on the right hand side, and it was quite useful IMO.

Niggle - non-working site logo
Chat not working either, SQL errors
Other than that, I like it!

I like the 'like' feature too.
Only feedback I have is that the medals seem a bit out of sync. Perhaps some are a couple of pixels different than others?

Looks nice though. Ooh, it tells you when you are typing a reply if someone else has replied in the meantime!

Also I noticed the medals glitch too. Again, NSI aware.
Keep 'em coming!

Also, I don't like the grey space each side of the forum, can you widen it out?

Might be missing the obvious, but can't seem to find the Force private area, at least for Herts!

I don't seem to be able to find the favourite forums, or watched forums, or whatever it was called.
It used to be on the right hand side, and it was quite useful IMO.
I believe the sidebars have gone for good. They were fairly universally hated, you must be the exception
Were Ads meant to have gone if your a power user?
Taking a little time to get used to it! But like it
Yes the ads ought not to be appearing for Power Users. If they are, give me specifics (which ad, where on the page, which topic etc) and I'll get it looked at.
Re the first part... not really sure I understand that? You can only select a body of text in reply/edit mode from right-left, but not left-right.
Where has the 'insert media' button gone?
The insert media is now under the 'Special BB Code' button, third from the top left when you are entering a reply or editing a post. It's a little green/blue box, in between the eraser and the 'Font' chooser. Does that make sense?
Um... no it's not??? Might just be your cache, if you didn't already change it?Oh, my Christmas Avatar is back, David won't be pleased, but woohoo - Christmas must be nearly here!

I see two adverts on the right hand side. One attempting to convince me to become a power user (ironically), and one for Uniform Dating at the bottomfi the pane, below the Police Jobs section.
Edit: I also see an advert banner at the top of the screen that seems to cycle through various ads. At the moment it's for the Specials Conference thing in Manchester, occasionally it talks about Police Aviation Convention or something in Bonn.
I also seem frequently get the "loading" symbol appear at the top of the screen, when the forum is clearly not loading. This is symbolised by a green rectangle with a number of variably sized white squares in it.
The Parade Room is visible, whereas I think it wasn't before?
Edit 2: I also see a number of ads from "AdChoices" at the bottom of the posting pane, talking about Security Degrees, Conveyancing for Less and a 26 Inch Police Baton. Official ASP apparently.
Edit 3: I also do not see the "PoliceSpecials.com" logo loading in the top left hand corner. Thanks NSI for the rigerous testing...

The logo/banner at the top isn't appearing but instead has the blue square with the '?' in it.

I like it, but I find it way too similar to Police Oracle...? I'm flicking between both forums at the moment reading opinions on Winsor 2, and it's irritating me! We seem to have lost a little identity and I keep forgetting which forum i'm on!
Just to illustrate my point...

All the others are fair, but that one last little bit is a tiny bit ott. Thanks NSI for the rigerous testing...
No matter how much testing you do, there's only so much that will show up on a closed system. It's a whole new beast once you start subjecting it to a full working load. And, as with everything 'new', there's almost bound to be a few small teething problems.
I guess the good thing is, is that we know they'll all be fixed eventually.

Sorry, but no.
I work in IT and I've done my fair share of upgrades. Not once have I had to come back and fix something that I've upgraded, because I ALWAYS test it. Fully. I see no excuse.
Good work NSI, but better luck next time. 8/10.
