I had the same problem. LV just fiddled with something , then I re-uploaded the avatar and ta-da, Robert's your mother's brother

Perhaps Lucas North can change the colour of one of them?!

I can't - I tried to copy it to change the colour in Photoshop, but it's not a picture.

liking the new forum, not been on for a few days and thought i'd come to the wrong website haha

just on the rep point that's been raised i can still see my rep on my profile, so i presume with this new "like" system that your rep is still there and increases by 1 with a "like" and thus can only ever go up not down?

if that's the case its a bit silly, even a complete idiot can make a few good posts, for example if they post a funny picture that got them say 15 "likes" then they would show as having a decent rep... not accounting for the fact no one can neg the rest of their posts which would usually be completely useless/off-topic/non-sensical

Just for info - the adverts still show in Maxthon (in both IE and default browser modes), despite being a Power User...

I had a link in the right hand column for the force I am with (Follow this topic?) this has now disappeared. I have unfollowed and re-followed but it has not come back. This used to give me quick access to the force specific area. Any chance or clues on getting it back? Using Chrome browser by the way.

Top left hand corner of the reply window there are three buttons. The one to the right of the one that looks like a rubber is called 'Special BBcode' select that and then select 'media', insert your link and hey presto the world implodes.

p.s. Let me know if it works will you.....................

With the new look, new ranking system, new medals and stuff this forum really is a shining beacon of light in a sea of forum design mediocrity. One of the best i've ever seen.

Now...to stop clicking the report button, thinking it's the reply button .

Only thing I have noticed is that I can ignore all signatures apart from those of mods. Why can we not ignore them too? Really speeds up browsing without the awful signatures!

You don't seem to be able to change the number of posts shown per page any more. You used to be able to show 10, 20 or 40 posts. Is this an option which can be reinstated?

I believe it's in the forum settings somewhere - I'll have a look and post the instructions up later unless anyone else beats me to it.

The old forum had a mobile version when viewing it off an Android phone. New one doesn't seem to have a mobile version, so just end up viewing a tiny version of the site, instead of something optimised for mobile.

I think it's awesome, though the whole avatar image being the same as your profile pic' is, well, a bit rubbish* unless I'm missing something.

I have to say I'm really not liking this new upgrade at all.

I run 3 machines (Desktop on Win Vista and Firefox, Netbook on Win 7 and Firefox & Android Phone) and I have similar issues with all 3.

- There is permanantly a stupid sidebar on the New Content page giving me the options of what new content I want to see (forums members etc) and what time period I want to see unread posts for...

- When viewing the site from my android phone it persistantly opens the 'fullsize' site, not the mobile version

- I keep having to press the 'Use Mobile site' button, wait for the site to reload (which it does in 'fullsize' mode) before pressing 'Use Mobile site' a second time before it actually reloads into the mobile version....

- When using the mobile version clicking on topic titles doesn't open the topic to the last viewed post but on page 1, post 1 meaning scrolling through pages and pages to get to the post you need


I'll be honest, the only thing I prefer on this new software over the old one is the lack of Negative rep button.

The main reason I don't like this 'upgrade' is because all of our Special identity has been lost. Even the PS Favicon has gone and been replaced by an upside down triangle with a line each side.

We are Special people and we are different.

Look down the bottom of the page, there is an option to view mobile site.
