Yep, just get an offline message, see screenshot (IE8 but doubt it matters)

I'm getting the same, and I'm a Power User, so something weird is going on.
Using Chrome if that helps.

There seems to be some posts that have disappeared at a period of roughly between the afternoon of the 19th and yesterday afternoon (20th).
You can see what I mean if you look at busy forums like News or GD.
Edit: The posts for the 20th have now appeared.
