Thanks!

not got a clue but im sure someone does.... in Cumbria we get issued everything apart from Stabvest (takes a month to get one made once sized up) and appointments. We are expected to wear uniform for training from day 1.

Merseyside we got uniform on Weekend 2.

We received all of our belt kit on evening 3, except we weren't issued our handcuffs :/
We were issued our batons but not our cuffs, which I found weird.

Additionally Merseyside you are not attested until the end of your training.

BTP gave us everything on day one except stab vest as this was made to measure and cuffs/baton. We got told that some officers in the past had got a bit over excited with their batons in a previous intake and put each other in hospital so until PST/OPT was done, we had empty holders on ours belts.

I got my kit about 2 weeks before starting training, including cuffs, baton & body armour, which if you get issued early on you should wear around the house so it moulds to your shape. Also store your baton and cuffs in the holders so they stretch out and it's not a struggle to get them in and out.

In Norfolk, we got all our kit apart from stabvest, in the weekend of attestation. Got our stabvest when we returned our tunic, about 3 days later.

The met is ostensibly week/day 13 of 23. That's been a bit hit and miss of late - it's been getting later and later by all accounts.

Got all my PCSO kit on day one, and wore it from day two onwards.

Humbetside get trousers, fleece, wicking tops and sliders before training starts as we wear the uniform from week two. Whilst we're at stores to pick it up, we get measured up for all the operational gear and don't get issued that until the last weekend, our training is ten weeks.

Dean.

I've got my medical on the 20th, for Staffs, and i've been asked to make an appointment with stores for a uniform fitting, so I guess pretty much around the time of the medical, or when the test results come back.
