Just got off of a long rugby shift in Cardiff, enjoyed talking to some of the other officers brought down to the area. I think the only thing that wasn't out tonight was a partridge in a freaking pear tree.

Ahhh it's always nice when you give a very drunk mate a lift home at stupid o'clock in the morning, they throw up in the car and you have to get the cleaning kit out!
I've been scrubbing and cleaning away like I've killed someone in my car for the past hour! The neighbours must think I'm some sort of nocturnal serial killer
All in a days work for a cop, can't let your friends walk home in a vulnerable drunken state! I feel like I've been on duty, comforting them about relationship problems, telling them to shut up because they will wake the street up and dropping them off safety at home and being left to clean up the mess! No paper work at least!
EDIT: I knew the box of nitrile gloves from the nick would come in handy at some stage......

I was 44 yesterday, I've still got a bitch of a hangover now. Made worse I think because I've had no alcohol since January 1st. Now I know why!

I sympathise. I had 3/4 bottle of a good white yesterday, with plenty of water and woke up with a banging head. I don't know why I bother.

Work all day today day shift and then get home and start doing my paperwork for my PDP the joys of the Probbie life
Quite a productive day but starting to flag a bit now like.
