Should we as Police Volunteers get issued with similar styled uniform as officer (black shirt, fleece, hi-viz) but where it says Police this is changed to Cadet Leader or similar?

We get issued the same uniform as the cadets ie white shirt, trousers, tie, etc do you think we should look different to them?

IMO- I think if you aren't a PC/SC/PCSO then you should in no way look like one regardless of what it says.

Agreed. Maybe a different uniform from the cadets, but not that drastic

Surely the key thing that will distinguish you from the cadets (and that you are supervising them) is the fact that you are an adult and they are children? ;)

But no, if you are not an officer then you should not be dressed like one.

I don't know about other Police cadets outside of the Met, but police cadets in the met wear similar uniform to the co19 or Armed Response unit
