What is that San Miguel like?

The last few days: I went to #IMPoff it was a night of Imperial Stout organised by @@CAMRGB
I had a few 'Impys' that night.

Export London Stout - Kernel Brewery
Gonzo Imperial Porter - Flying Dog Brewery
Kopicat - Summer wine Brewery

Loving my Imperial Stouts of late, a style not to everyones taste, but worth a shot if you like it dark.

My bank holiday tipple.

Not too fizzy or sweet, smooth and refreshing! Not quite an ale, not quite a larger!

I have a pack of the Fresca in the fridge waiting, I usually like spanish lagers more than others so hoping it's alright.

The Henry's reminds me of school, we used to buy it as it was by a long way the cheapest then, even the lagerlouts were on it. It was quite drinkable as I remember though, didn't know you could buy it bottled/canned

I am off wotk tomorrow So i have had...
Brewdog Dogma 7.8%
Brewdog Tokyo* 18.2%

dogma, was amazing. quite easy to drink. Tokyo* my word... wow. just.wow. laden with flavour, I just do not know what is going on inside my mouth or my head!
Stout roast notes, sweet sugars, Carnaberry, Fruits... alll sorts going on. This bad boy is 18.2% it should come eith a health warning.
£9.99 for the bottle. an experience and to date the strongest beer I have ever dared try.

I recently stayed in Cropredy in Oxfordshire at my girlfriends parents house and I must say that their local Ale is pretty darn good.

Theres two beers to chose from all year round when you visit the local pubs:
  • Old Hooky
Which is 4.6% and really really nice. Quite fruity and refreshing too even though its an ale.
  • Hooky Bitter
3.6% and a bit more on the bitter side, but this is more of an IPA to be honest (even though its not advertised as such)

They have other beers avaliable like stouts and seasonal brews, but I didnt get to sample these as they were not avaliable at the pub I went to :new_violin:
Hook Norton brewery - would highly reccomend ;)

Not real ale by any stretch of the imagination but just wanted to show off my recent haul at the pub quiz. Got a free two course meal for two as well. Tidy.

When I say pub, you say quiz! PUB!

Had a nice pint last night of Boondooggle, brewed by Ringwood.

a nice blonde ale at 4.2%. I'm not normally a lover of Ringwood ales as I find them very wishy washy. However that excludes their Old Thumper & XXXX Porter.

I have a Bondoogle in the 'beer box' where the poor beers sit as they wait their final fate. Never had it and looking forward to trying it.
had some brilliant ones lately.
Finally had the Brewdog ab:08 - a white stout in simple terms, 11.8% very very strong, but you could still get the base of the stout as in aftertaste.
and... Sink The Bismarck 41% Brewdog's second (yes second) Strongest beer, It's a sipper, Honey thick and quad hopped. I don't quite know what was going on with it. So Will have it again on thursday.

Lots since the sites been down, i Couldnt possibly post all of them.
Currently arguing online to old school camra members that keg beer is not the devil. it has its place. but they wont budge.
