Just wondering what actual level is attained during the First Aid weekend with Humberside Police?
When I did mine D.W. said it was above the level for Nominated First Aider in the workplace, but you get nothing to say that i.e. no certificate.
The people who have done it can you let me know what level it is at please - I have recently applied to volunteer for St John Ambulance and would like to tell them what my level of attainment is from Humberside Police.
Cheers for any answers

Hello mate,
hope all is well
Normally first aid for the Police is Emergency First Aid. (Some forces may do different ones)
I am also a Member of St John Ambulance, SJA will not acknowledge first aid certificates from outside the organisation so you will need to go to do the Induction programme with SJA and then you'll become a Trainee First Aider with them.
Hope this helps
Any more questions let me know
Sam

Humberside Police run part of the HSE "FIrst Aid at Work" course which is normally four days and as such it's not actually recognised by anybody other than the force, this is why you don't get any certificate.
D.W. told us this when we did ours so it's straight from the horses mouth, as it were.
