To be honest, I saw one that video where someone actually got access to them and they're a slick operation but still, not have one, just in case? Anyway.

A friend of mine told me a story that they in synchrnoized fashion get on their bikes. Whilst watching the a group another mate said "Mount" when they were all only just standing around and they all hurried to hop on, said it was most amusing.

They get all upset when sirens are mentioned. I think they will get them eventually, but it will be forced on them.

Surely there is an issue of safety of the general public etc regarding the lack of sirens?

These days I keep seeing them in convoy with cars which do have sirens, I can't remember the last time I saw the bikes alone.

Regarding sirens, the system works well, the use of sirens seems to vary doctrinally. I always remark in one of those shouting at the tele ways where LAS crews seem to want to sneak up on people, amd bang their noise on at the very last minute and this seems to be true for when theyre running too calls and not away from them. I also notice it on the fast response cars which are notncarrying patients.

I dispise them for being unsafe and thats from someone who nearly got knocked down by an ambulance which flew out of a side road with lights on and no siren.

Anyway, back on topic, lovely pics keep on coming.

For me, there will never be a better picture of a police motorcycle.

The rider can't have been in too much hot water over this - I beleive he's now an inspector.

That bike is now being used by one of the blood bike charities. They are very proud of its history!

Two of the new VFRs passed me in the tunnel at blackfriars, instantly recognisable from the crash bobbins. No pictures but both on the I. Quiet, smooth and discreet. Current police mojo, high :new_doh2:

Thats funny. When the public want help, the police are expected to be there within nanoseconds. Yet when the police want help, the public don't want to know...

GET LOST! It's not a one way street Mr & Mrs Public!!!

The only thing is, with all their kit on, they look slightly too small for the officers.

I know they hunt in pairs, but....

Is it just me, or does that Glock look exceedingly vulnerable :)
