Hi have decided to feed my two german shepards a raw diet i like the benefits i have heard but don't know how much to feed them or where is a good supplier of pet meat any tips that people can give would be gratefully received thanks

My GSD has been on it for 3 years now. He weighs in at 46kg really powerfully built and fit as a butchers dog. Perhaps the
saying goes becuase they were fed from the 'bone bin' at the butchers.
I've stayed away from the 'pray' feeding side of BARF as he is bad enough catching the odd crow or two in the garden.
I feed him aroiund 2-3% of his body weight he loves his veggies too especially peas!!

Ok I don't have a dog anymore but one of my first thoughts when reading...
... was hmm good price, whats wrong with it? Can I use it to make a stew?
I know it's probably a bad idea, and I expect it says 'not for humans' on the bag.

If you dont mind bits of bone connective tissue etc then its fine for a stew i already feed them meat occasionally as a treat
