Yep, daft rule that - tackling in the air (and then dropping the player) at a lineout isn't a sin bin offence! Still, it was a great game, and can be summarised in just two words:

TRIPLE CROWN!!!

I understand they can't give the try because they weren't sure, and that regardless it would have been a draw. AND that it was an awesome game all around, but....

..it was a try

You can't tell if it's over or on the line there. Nice attempt, though.

If you follow the part of the line you can see. (I know it's a rough sketch), but it looks comfortably over.., I'm just being picky  I really enjoyed the game.

If the ref, touch judges, and TV referee can't say that the ball was downed properly, then you and I sitting at home have absolutely no chance - you can argue the point as much as you like, they couldn't (and didn't) award a try on the TV evidence.

I know the feeling, my phone hasn't stopped ringing from all my English supporter friends saying "It was a try", "they cheated", etc... ho hum, better luck next year!!

I got an earful for wearing my Wales shirt when I popped out to the shops after the game, seems a few people feel a bit hard done by.

Just been reading the comments on rbs six nations facebook page and personally i think both sets of fans should be ashamed of there comments always preferred Rugby not just for the game but the sense of wishing the other side well no matter what but its more like reading a review from football hooligans

Yep, and that's a nasty injury too... just watched it back in slow motion on my TiVO and it looks like it might be a broken ankle... :)
