Hey Hoodles! We are heading for our third weekend today. As its such a large course for the next couple of weeks we are doing slightly different subjects but our group have just had their radio training and this weekend I think its alot of the legal side and scenarios as well. I can't believe how quick the time is going! Hope everything is ok with you?

Hi blueacorn....it was really good especially on the Sunday afternoon when we were let loose around HQ and had to put everything we had learnt into action. The only thing you may find is you get a bit trigger happy with the radio as everyone tried to talk at the same time but seriously you will enjoy it (snow permitting)!!

Happy days, glad you are all enjoying it. Radio training exercises are always frustrating as there is generally only one channel for all those groups who are trying to all talk at the same time...
The law side of things are fairly basic once you nail the definitions, I am guessing you will be doing statements too, they are a bit of an art form but you will eventually get your own style going.
