As we are now in the month of February with the 14th traditionally the day for celebrating love and affection for others, I thought I would offer my services to act as a postbox for any Valentine messages that PS.com users wish to send to other PS.com users. :luv: :luv: Or hate mail if you are so inclined. Hopefully this year's messages will be more plentiful than last year's, especially for David. You could even declare your love for your partner / wife / husband if you wish!

:D

How It Works

If there is someone on PS.com that has taken your fancy, drop us a message, remembering to include their username, to me, as a PM. We will then PM the recipient to let them know that a message has been received that is intended for them. This will of course be done without including your name! If the recipient agrees to be included, your message will be posted on 14th February in this forum along with any others received, a bit like taking out a classified ad but at absolutely no cost to anyone.

Your message can take any form ie. a poem, ode, limerick, straightforward declaration of obsession love or a cryptic message that only the recipient will understand, the choice is yours, but please remember to keep it clean! :aok:

Note: Any message sent to us will not be posted if either the intended recipient does not respond to our message alert or confirms that they do not wish to be included. Hopefully that will not happen but we do have to respect all PS.com users wishes.

Our Promise

Any messages sent to me will be treated in the strictest confidence. Senders names, messages and recipients will not be repeated under any circumstances and will be deleted from mailboxes once posted.

Good idea though Merlin :w00t:

I can confirm that I have received messages to send on. That is all.

Can I send one to myself? :p

Would you like me to send you one? It won't be secret but you'll feel loved and included.

Nim, with the amount of guys who adore you on here, surely you either need a break from the fan mail, or should have a day dedicated to you?

There'd be fanfares, roses, seranades, chocolates..... if that all fails I may make you a brew :)

Would you like me to send you one? It won't be secret but you'll feel loved and included.

I would, but make it anonymous.... :)

There's nowt that says love so much as a 7p card....

You'd be better off getting her/him an onion and downloading Carol Ann Duffy's poem Valentine from the internet...

For you literary lovers out there:

Posted Image

Valentine by Carol Ann Duffy

Not a red rose or a satin heart.

I give you an onion.
It is a moon wrapped in brown paper.
It promises light
like the careful undressing of love.

Here.
It will blind you with tears
like a lover.
It will make your reflection
a wobbling photo of grief.

I am trying to be truthful.

Not a cute card or a kissogram.

I give you an onion.
Its fierce kiss will stay on your lips,
possessive and faithful
as we are,
for as long as we are.

Take it.
Its platinum loops shrink to a wedding-ring,
if you like.

Lethal.
Its scent will cling to your fingers,
cling to your knife.
