I've always found it fine too! RoboCop's bunch moaned about being "food poisoned" on Sunday though, then they asked our group and none of us had any issues with the pies, think it was the Attestation Alcohol that made you guys ill, not the pie ;)

Hmm, if your group were all fine and you ate the same food....... sounds like some people cant hold their attestation alcohol! :D

I would say the food at FHQ is the second best mass produced food I have eaten, after the severn park fire and rescue training centre food. I wont hear a bad word said about it! :)

When they're there and cooking it, I'd not disagree too much. But, presuming that it's done the same way now that it was when I was in training, come Saturday evening/Sunday, I'd rather eat my shoes.

Having never eaten there in the evening (Is it even open then?) and also never tried eating your shoes, I cant comment on which is the nicer of the two :aok:

Agreed :p

You are the best!

Both groups are equal.

Naturally :aok:

Word of advice to all groups though, after you have completed your PPE weekend, when it comes to Mod 5 and you having to show to the trainers you can still do your handcuffing/UDT, make sure you can :p

It's great that you can do it on your PPE weekend, but you've got a few weeks in-between and you want to keep up that standard - otherwise your trainers won't be best pleased! So just keep that in mind, have a practice at home or come up to the HQ with a friend or a group and practice in the gym :D

Wishing you all the best of luck :aok:

Wow! Sounds like you've been busy :D

Just completed Module 1 and loved every second of it! :) Have met some fantastic people, including student SC's and Trainer's. Everyone is very supportive, and my experience from this weekend has more than exceeded my expectations.

Can't wait for Mod 2!!! :new_rtfm:
