Ok now i'm getting excited
You're going to be so disappointed on Sunday, that you have to wait a whole 2 WEEKS before you do the next bit of training!!!
It goes so quickly though...5 months ago we were in your shoes and now ready...ish... to go out into the world! Make the most of it and enjoy every minute!
Make sure you get yourself known at the nick, once you know where you're going...in a good way of course...
Don't be late, be smart and do not fall asleep in class!!
Have fun but make sure you take everything in and do what the trainers tell you...including homework!!!

Couldn't agree more with Steve!
I'm not sure where the last five months have gone but they have flown by! I remember after my first weekend, It was almost unbearable waiting to go back and learn some more!
Stone Cold Steve makes a good point about not being late, there's no harm in getting there 5 mins early...but who wants to risk 5 mins of traffic, so I always aim to get there around 15-20mins before the start, plan accordingly is my advice there!
Make sure you do your pre-reads/homework that you are set, it's not an arduous task so just do them, otherwise it'll come to the next weekend and when the questions start getting asked and there is complete silence...it's not a good start!
Overall you'll find the course exciting and fun, but it is a commitment you make, it's a lot to learn (hence the pre-reads so your not looking at the material going
And don't be afraid to come say Hi on your induction, feel free to ask any questions!

Only kidding, you will enjoy it, or at least you should as it's something you have an interest in! The time does fly by though, our course only has 6 more weeks until our attestation!

Just say it loud and say it proud!
And it doesn't help to review the oath

Ahh don't worry matey, you'll be fine!

I spent days and nights going through it!! No need....!!! As long as you can read and speak with a loud voice thats all you need. Admittedly I missed out my name at the start but I don't think anyone spotted it!! Ahem!! Seriously, its good to read it, so you have a least a very good idea of the content and by the time you're saying it in front of everyone, you're so blinkered by it in concentration, that you never notice whats going on around you!
A very proud moment!

Do we really have to wait 14 days between each module...? It's been 2 days just and Ive polished my boots twice already lol!
14 days is nothing, we had 21 days between our PPE and Airwave and the intake before us had 4 or 5 weeks off over Christmas!

I've always found it fine too! RoboCop's bunch moaned about being "food poisoned" on Sunday though, then they asked our group and none of us had any issues with the pies, think it was the Attestation Alcohol that made you guys ill, not the pie
