Just been to the Tamworth Specials AGM. Excellent evening and many congratulations to all the awards winners. So many positive things came out tonight which are a credit to the officers at the station both Regular and Special. Do any other LPU's have AGM's with their officers to discuss the on going policing of their communities and to highlight the great work done by our Officers?
So good to see the Regular Officers from the Station in attendance giving their full support to the Specials. Also the Specials Leadership Team including the Deputy Chief Officer and all 4 Special Chief Inspectors. Many thanks for all your support. Some have travelled a great distance just to be there and support the Special Officers.
The issues raised and the items discussed will only go to enhance the work done at this LPU and to include the full involvement of the Special Constabulary Officers in all the Policing issues around the LPU. So congratulations to the 2 Special Inspectors for organising such a well planned and useful evening and thanks finally to all the Specials at Tamworth for their dedication and commitment to the policing of the the town.Long may it continue !!!!!!!!!

Doen't happen here in East Staffs as far as I know - Things seem quite different over here!

Doesn't happen in SOT Div either, which is a shame. Would be good showcase for everyone's hard work across the division really.

I think the Special Inspectors did a wonderful job of organising it! It was good that so many people attended
