Its been a long time since we had an informal chat on here, To start I'd just like to add that back in the early days we used to have nights out and travel all over to different forces for nights out. Some of us have left the service, some have just vanished into thin air, I know of a couple of SC's who's still around who where such good fun almost a decade ago, both of em are full time now but I wonder if there still happy and up for a night on the town? {you know who you are ha ha}

Back in the day, the SYP area used to be booming and Mike & I enjoyed a brilliant few nights out with the SYP lot! Although we were TVP, we were always made to feel welcome and part of the SYP family. We made some great friends but over time, the communication dwindled. I'm pleased to say that 18 months ago, i took the plunge and came back to Sheffield to continue the career I love, something I couldn't have done without the support of a good woman who moved up with me!!

I'm hoping Mike will do the same this year and return to the City for good. We're still the fun-loving lads we've always been and if there's a night out that can be organised, count us in!! It'd be great to see some old faces.

The question is...where are the rest of you nowadays?!

Great to see your doing so well mate, I'll try to get something sorted for the summer, Must be three years or more since Ive seen Mike, I thought i might see you flying about on the job? you happy over the dark side? he he, Re the rest of us, well a a few of em got banned off here, a few left the job, Mike joined the Army, Dave retired, sadly a few got promotions and felt it wasnt the right thing to do posting on here, couldnt get my head around that but ho hum. I think the majority of the rest of them went to FaceBook and that was that. But, hopefully this year a re-union will happen. Take care for now, Lee.

Not been on one of the nights out as yet. I have a postponed transfer application to South Yorkshire. Am considering Derbyshire next month, however, given the delay.
