Had my fitting on the 19th.

Yes the warm up does certainly get the blood flowing They tend to start earlier due to the rush hour traffic

Ah right I thought it was an hour extra training that day.

Gym kit, with armour and belt tomorrow, is that right?

OST is great, the best part of training. CS isn't pleasant but you get used to it!

It has been really good. Hard work, lots to remember, but good fun. Not looking forward to CS much, nervous about scenarios too.

All done and passed on the OST now, was really good, enjoyed it a lot.

I'm currently a serving Special on the G. Been in over a year, and active for just under 9 months.

Don't worry, not being CS'd isn't anything major, I didn't get it in my Training as it was at the time "Under Review".

What a good choice mate! All the best with the application!

I thought my application to the regs was awful, yet It ended up coming in the top 3% of all applicants, so you really don't know mate!

Hi mate,

I am a Special Constable.

I got to waiting for a date for my Medical then I was put on hold due to the cutbacks coming into force, I was kept on hold, then GMP terminated my application and said either join the specials, or wait until recruitment opened up to the public again, So I decided on the specials. Been in since January 2011. Getting signed off as Substansive at the end of the month, and also doing my tutors course this weekend. So all good.
