Not yet, haven't heard anything from admin since the offer last week.

Nailsea or W-S-M (J District), can't wait to write double yellow-line tickets

I thought you were going to DS with Damsel?
No, Ive been forgotten about. Only reason I am so keen is that I want to get to the station and have a look around, meet some people and get squared away with ESIBS.
Some in our course have already got some SOLAPS filled out due to having drink driving training at the station. Which I wouldnt mind doing.

Spoke to Bristol recruitment on Tuesday and they said they were waiting for their allocation of spaces for January. Not alot I can do now just keep me fingers crossed!

Each district is allocated a number of places on each course.

Ahh right, well I've just been confirmed for January. Trying to chance my first choice of station though, I want DK Kingswood, not DS Staple Hill.

You might not get your first choice, so don't be to upset if you don't get it.

I wouldn't worry too much about DS/DK to be honest. Both myself and the other A/O are based at Staple Hill anyway and you'll be one one of our teams, we regularly parade from (or at least run operations in and around) Kingswood. You'll also be allocated to a Beat Manager, and if that beat is run out of DK, that's where you'll be most of the time anyway.Ahh right, well I've just been confirmed for January. There's really not enough difference between the two to make any odds.

Not in J! Parking hasn't be decriminalised down there, so it's still a police power. Or at least it was last time I was down there...

Guys...you'll love it...we're only on Mod3 but its been great so far and everyone gels well..! I'd be happy to do it every weekend and I guess that'll be the case once the Attestation is completed!
