So, just got my offer onto the January course, absolutely buzzing. Apart from Neil (hope you got good news pal!) is there anyone alive on these forums? I know the vocal bunch are all on the November course.

So, if there are any of you, speak up!

Congrats to you buddy on getting your place in January... fair play!

Nothing my end. Don't know if my Doctor has done the report that OHS have asked for I know she got the letter on the 15th that OHS sent asking for a report, but how long does it take? 1 week? 2 weeks? 3 weeks? Who knows?

Considering she only works two days a week I can't see it being any time soon

Still debating whether to ring OHS and see if they've received it, or ring my Doctors... really don't know, every time I get an email I get so nervous to read it. Just want result now, been a long hard struggle!

Hopefully everything my end will be ok, then I'll be just behind you

I would ring the docs and tell them that the recruitment process is closing and you need the report done ASAP. Good luck to you both and see you all at HQ.

And Neil, i'd ring them if i was you mate, best to see if they can give you a timeframe in regards to how long it might be, plus a helpful reminded given what your going in for isn't a bad thing!

I was asked for availability on the next two courses (January, and April) and they said as soon as they could offer me a place they'd get in contact with me. I got an email last Wednesday offering me a place, I'm sure you'll hear something soon - would be nice to see another person from the forums on that course

Mid-week seems to be the best time to get a response from HR, I assume Monday is catching up with any backlog over the weekend, so they seem to be quiet on Mondays!

If you don't hear anything by the end of the week, I'd send them an email!

Once you've passed your medical it doesn't take too long after that and you get it with your collar number. Saying that there are a couple on our course currently who are unsure where they are going to as yet!

Well im hoping to be at DK (Kingswood), and i have spoken to occupational health and they have passed me but im still waiting for for admin to email me :/

well they had to wait for the GP to send a report cus my BP was a little low, but i spoke to Occupational Health on Friday and they said they have sent it saying they have signed me off. But ive heard nothing from Admin.

If it was last Friday then dont worry to much, by the time it gets to admin and they go through it all etc and they dont work full time. If you havent heard anything by week Friday then give them a call.

Well done mate, Wednesday seems to be the day as that's when I got my email.

Now, just to get through December
