My last time was with Merseyside, passed PIRT and interview, then rejected due to absence record. (I'd had 8 single days off in the three year period upto the date of application, but that fell outside their strict 24 days/3 occasions limit).

Yeah I applied to Merseyside a few years ago but like yourself stumbled at the sickness check. Cheshire are bit more lenient when it comes to sickness.
