Expect to see lots of Astra's and Corsa's. The idea is nationally there is one spec for all forces that fit two types of radio system buzz words flying around is "Single Vehicle Architecture".
BMW 5 series for traffic cars (diesels ;P)
Doesn't mean forces can't buy other vehicles but its meant to save money buying vehicles at the correct spec and agreed price nationally.
The Astras are good, the in cab design is neat. For those used to mobile data or ANPR screens the dash isn't cluttered but unfortunately there is no radio for 3am heart FM listeners... My only disappointment is they still haven't figured out what to do with Sat Navs.

Seen the first corsa marked up for bw outside the lane today, along with a 62 plate peugeot cage van. Guess the npt rollout is well and truly underway!
I really dont like the look of the new Expert!

I really do, looks almost like it's got front teeth! Not had the pleasure of driving it yet, but it's definitely an improvement on the one you can see in the background.I really dont like the look of the new Expert!
