Hi all--- I got an e-mail today asking for photos of tattoos i have on right and left arms---awaiting home office approval ( nothing offensive )
I applied on the 19TH AUGUST and this is my 1ST e-mail----does this mean i have passed the paper sift part?

I got a phone call----need to go to HQ on wed (2day) to try a shirt on to see if it covers tattoos---- i wear a shirt everyday at work , so see no problems

Hi

I sent my second application to HR via email at the start of September. I was wondering if they would reply on the outcome of the application only after the closing date for application forms, or whether they are maintaining an ongoing recruitment process as and when a certain amount of forms are collected. I can't remember when it ends this year but hopefully this is the time i'll make it in.

hi----think its on-going
they look to see if you have tattoos---need to e-mail them---then i had to try shirts on to see when i stretch arms out if they still covered

then its fitness test --which im still waiting for date

Hi GeneHunt - I had my interview yesterday and actually asked a similar question at the end when I was invited to ask any questions - I asked them how it worked and how many new recruits they tend to take on on a monthly/6 monthly/annual basis approximately. They indicated it was an ongoing thing whereby they sift through the applications as and when they come through - so they're constantly working through a stream of them at any given time. I suppose it just depends on your individual answers as to how quickly they can process it as to whether its a straightforward "pass", a more complicated issue where they need to check up on things (such as Brian has found with his tattoos) or an altogether "fail" for whatever reason.
