pretty well I think seeing as it took you half the time set to complete the paper! I don't think I did too well!

I'm not that fussed about passing to become a skipper in the next 5 years, I doubt I'd do that. I just don't want to 'fail'

It tends to change, the latest way is that you will get a MetHR notification with just PASS or FAIL, and then a few days later receive an email from the NPIA with your full breakdown and result.

ok dokey.... I'll just keep my eyes peeled. It's just I don't normally log onto MetHR on a daily basis: I only log on when applying for courses etc and waiting to see if they are accepted.

It's a usual 4 or 5 weeks from the date of the exam till you get the results, when I did my Sgts I had to wait nearly 7 weeks, 5 weeks for Insp's!! There is usually an AWARE announcement that the results are in and being uploaded to MetHR and you will see this thread being updated by officers from other forces when they get theirs so you know when to start checking.

Hi, I'm new to this forum but I have been following this topic as I sat the exam this year for the first time. Just wondered if anyone had heard any rumours about when the results may be out (other than the usual before the end of April or 6-8 weeks after the exam!!). I'm getting tired of waiting as I am sure everyone else is!!

Ospre part one results are out today. Results by force email in Northumbria.

Just found out that anyone in the MET's results are accessable via my HR. Unfortunately I'm rest days until Friday!!

Hi all! Like Weston841, I am also new to this forum, although this seems to be the only site discussing the current Sgts exam part one. I am an Officer for SYP and contacted HR today to ask for some input. They said that they had not heard anything, but advised me to call back tomorrow to check again.
I have seen the last two posts from later than my call, so fingers crossed, tomorrow is the BIG day!
I wish you all the best in your results and Ill post when I get mine!
I won't be sleeping tonight let me tell you! Its been a loooong 5 weeks (its actually seemed longer than the revision period!)...

I passed - no score yet just a pass or fail. I drove in to work yesterday to find out. All that hard work seems worth it now. Good luck everyone.

Its killing me :0(

I'm hoping I'll be hearing something sooner rather than later! Its a nightmare that different forces find out at different times. What a terrible system!

I agree, it is a terrible system. It's almost as if the NPIA either don't care or don't realise how important the result of the exam is - to those of us who put some effort in. Fingers crossed that everyone gets the result soon and it's positive.

The results are out, but it goes in force order, so if you're force begins with a Z, then you'l be last to know. Lancashire found out yesterday, I'm still waiting to hear.

So that's Lancashire, The MET and Northumbria that came in yesterday. I work for South Yorkshire, so I would have thought that today or tomorrow at the latest surely?
The problem is that the HR department have no intention to contact us when they come in. The only advice is to ring every day to see if they are in! All seems a little shambolic if I'm being completely honest.
