Even if I am not allowed to wear it outside, can I hang on to it personally?

So you can keep your lightweight jumper anyway,
Or if you really love your lined jumper, you can keep it and not swap it for a fleece...

Has anybody got a picture of what people actually look like wearing these mystical fleeces?

Similar I should imagine, with or without various badges and chequered bands
Am I allowed to keep my NATO jumper when the new fleece comes out? I rather like it.

When fleeces replaced nato jumpers in Suffolk we all kept our old jumpers, but were not allowed to wear them any more. So possibly maybe

There is a picture on this site, it might be in a topic under the same or similar name. I got an email today from my MSC coordinators saying that I'm first in line as I'm IPS and I should contact them if I've not received a heavyweight jumper before.
I got the same Email but no indication of date, hopefully this side of christmas!

The first ever email we got stated September as the roll out, shouldn't be too far away if we've been given confirmation.

I think there's a lot of people who are also "first"... single line... advance...

Good stuff, as long as I don't look like a traffic warden I don't mind.I saw a few officers wearing them at NHC, looked smart

I've had mine for two months now. They aren't bad, but I still prefer the Nato. I handed back my lined Nato and kept the lightweight one.
They're also a right pain to wash, must be non-bio powder and no softener...

Question... Do you HAVE to wear it over Metvest... or can it be worn under??
Over it. It's fitted so wont go underneath it and just looks silly if you try it that way.

Looking forward to the fleece, although my vest isn't the best fit, so if it's fitted over that I might look literally like a plum.
