Thank you :-D

Yes, you're right Central London Police Station, it's near Tottenham court road tube station. I started off there for about 2 months before moving on...as an SC to another station.

Usually, external candidates wait 6 months in between PC applications.
PCSO is Police Staff and I've never heard of a 6-month gap being required between application processes... It's definitely worth giving HR/Recruitment a bell and asking.

You can apply, the 6 month rule is seperate for each of the 3 frontline roles; specials, regs, pcsos

Any idea where the Wales and Western positions are ? I assume not Birmingham as they have not long advertised for there and taken on.

On the application it asks you to tick the station that you want to apply for and the distance from your home should influence your choice. I ticked Swansea, Newport, Cardiff, Bristol and Carmarthen, there were other stations there but was unsure if they could come back and say they had no vacancies in the station I chose so I chose multiple stations.

Surprised how deathly quiet it is on this thread! Has anybody received any info since submitting their application?

Nothing from me as of yet. I did phone to see if they received my application, which they have.
Im guessing I won't hear anything back until at least January.

After waiting months and months for rejection from the recent PC recruitment campaign, I found out today (2 weeks after applying) that I have an AC for PCSO! :-)

Recruitment officer said it will be on 26th November so I imagine that anyone still waiting will find out soon enough whether they have been successful.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting!
