Basically you will have certain topics that you would cover over your training as expected (around 4 per weekend such as public order/pocket notebook rules etc) and you might have various role plays to go with certain areas of your training....in terms of assessment, you are constantly assessed in your contribution to the group and your compentancy in role plays, but the the best thing about it is they wont just fail you because you did bad on a certain aspect of your training, they expect and want! everyone! to make mistakes! because you will then do a de-brief on your performance therefore you know what to improve on in the future, so as long as you take on any advise they give you, you will be fine in thaat department  Finaly you will do a multiple choice knowlege check at the end, which everyone in the last group passed, so i shoudnt worry about that to much i think its just there to make sure you have not just been day dreaming for the whole course :aok: haha!

Hope this helped

At first I received my letter with my training date saying that I would be posted in the Tamworth Local Policing Team, but I've asked to be posted in Burton and I then received a letter saying I was now going to be posted in the East Staffordshire Local Policing Team.

Yea, on the email I received back confirming that I would be joining East Staffs LPT it said that they had put a preference down for me for Burton, so hopefully I will get Burton

Thanks for the reply. I'm the Inspector at Tamworth and was going to invite you to the station but I will have to let Burton do that now. Hope you enjoy your duties.

Oh right, sorry its nothing against Tamworth, I just personally know Burton better as a whole. Thank you anyway :)
