Mentioned in the above but thought I would give a heads up in force specific .Crime Watch roadshow is featuring a Lancashire Special tomorrow .9.15 am BBC 1.

I only caught the last bit of today's episode. The presenter at the end of the show said something along the lines of...

"Next episode we'll be looking at the Special Constabulary for Lancashire, these are members of the public who help police the streets and don't get paid. They are truly the unsung heroes for the force."
