Picked up uniform today - huge kit bag and a separate bag for the body armour...

Now have to try out the cuffs on the wife!!

Anyone else in HL?

When you try your stuff on, make sure you try all combinations at once. I.e make sure your hi-viz can do up when worn over the top of stab vest and fleece. Which mine doesn't.

And also make sure your Hi-viz has had the klick-fast docks on it, or you'll come to do your first duty on a rainy night and find you can't do your waterproof jacket up because you've nowhere to put your radio!

MC1, have you considered wearing the hi-viz jacket underneath your armour? That's what I had to do till a new jacket with Klick points on it arrived.

Well this is a long overdue update to this thread.
I have now all but finished my foundation b training and reckon that it is about time that I update this.
Passed BLS4 today!
Quick cuffs and fast wraps tomorrow followed by RM S in a fortnight.
Attestation is down for 16 July!!
