I have recently filled in an application form - what is the maximum number of days and occasions you can have in 3 years? does anyone know

also....

is it 3 years eg if i applied in November 2010. Would i go back 2010 2009 2008 or... November 10-November 09 (1 year), November 09-November 08 (2 years), November 08-November 07 (3year)

I am a little unsure

Thank you

I don't know the answer to your question but... you do know that you don't have to fill it in when you hand your application form in?

I got told i had to? I failed over a year ago due to the amount of sickness days, and i was told...an act of law something 2010 had changed so you didn't have to put why you where ill or explain yourself. But they told me to fill in the sickness day sheet :\

I sent it off this tuesday.

Do they not have to look at your sickness records before they read the rest of the application?

CONFUSEDDDDDD hahah sorry

Did you download your application from the link they gave? Look at the application front sheet.

In accordance with the Equalities Act 2010, at this initialstage applicants are not required to provide information relating to sicknessabsence therefore leave this section blank. Please note however the Recruitmentand Selection department will require this information at the final stages ofthe recruitment process, when a conditional offer has been made.

I didn't put it in because of that, I know I will have to hand it in, just not yet.

No I don't think so, they won't look at it yet anyway. It will be so that it is fair, they are judging you on your PIRT, Interview, Fitness and Medical first and then your Sickness record, I think.

It will be along the same lines of removing the front cover before looking at applications that way you don't know if the applicant is Male/Female, Black or White.

Fingers crossed anyway!! my sickness days were from when i had a problem nearly 3 year ago which is fully resolved and the women on the phone that gave me the link said 'are you in better health than your last application' and i said my health was fine now

I hope they disregard that silly page for now as i really want this!!

Sent my application on Tues 3rd...still awaiting 'recieved' letter so hopefully won't take too long or i won't have any fingers left haha

thanks for your help
ps. are you in the force yet?

I presume you will get it sometime next week, just a guess thought.

No, I have passed papersift, PIRT and got my interview in the next few weeks.

Cheetah might be able to tell you how much time you are allowed off.
