This does tend to be very female heavy, so I thought I aught to perhaps balance it out and give a few for the ladies on here to ponder about:

He's not bad to look at but I have heard that he can be very rude and arrogant in real life, not very nice traits and certainly not attractive.

lol Indeed, if we're talking just looks, as what I believe this thread is about, then fair enough.
However personally I agree, I find the personality either supports or detracts from a persons attractiveness. Pretty is one thing, but if they're ignorant or generally not a very nice person, wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. Real-world partner selection is a much trickier predicament, than just selecting a purely baseless attractive celebrity.
But I apologise if you find Sean Connery a poor choice, I am after-all a heterosexual male, so I'm sure others could select much better male candidates, just felt it was a little one sided.

It is shameful really - she was just as attractive as a murderous walking toaster on "Battlestar Galactica"! I don't see the harm in leaving something to the imagination!!yes lol I love how the creators of the new Hawaii Five-0 series have pretty much written it so that she must be in bikini or skimpy clothing at least twice per episode, it's not lechery honest.

Yes it's very lowest common denominator, I know it is Hawaii and all, but a suit can still be "sexy" I've never looked at the credits that closely, but I'd be interested in seeing the gender divide in the writing and production team. I should imagine it's very male orientated, we all know "sex sells" but a little more imagination wouldn't kill them.

Damien Lewis from the BBCs recent 'Stolen' would have to be my latest thing. His calmness did it for me.
Long-term it would have to be Jack Bauer, although he's not a police officer.
