Evening all,
Just wondering what the uniform is for north Yorkshire? I have spent a few days up there and saw two officers in what looked like dark polo shirts and fleece and then 2 other officers in White shirt and fleece?!
Is norks trialing the polo shirt, or was it just a few rogue officers?!

Hey Mate
We currently wear the white shirts and ties, although FSU, Dogs and strike team wear black polo shirts, we are apparently changing to black polo shirts this month sometime .....we will see !

Are you going to be part of the regional uniform thing? I know Humber, syp and wyp are involved but I've not seen any mention of nyp.

Apparently yes will part of regional uniform, looks like the new uniform is coming in latter part of this year, not sure when exactly but some officers have had a try on of it.

One of the bobbies on our SNT has already got his - it had collar number patches sown onto the sleeves and had the NYP crest on the left chest area. All we need now is a stab vest that is badged up and has pockets!

Errr as far as I'm aware the new uniform doesn't have region crests and doesn't have pockets on the stabbies. There shouldn't be any altering of the uniform and we've already been told it'll be stricter once the new uniform arrives.
