Fitness Test

I have my fitness test on Monday 7th March and was seeing if anyone else has it then?
Also a few questions for some people that have already done it...
- What can I expect on the fitness test? I know it's a bleep test and push/pull test but how hard is it?
- The minimum amount you have to push/pull is 35KGS whats that like? Is it hard, and how is it done, I understand you have to sit on something that looks like a rowing machine?
- Do you push the bar when your facing it and then face away from the bar and pull it from behind with your arms behind you?? I'd just like to know so I know what to expect?
- Do you find out on the day if you pass?
- What happens after the fitness test if your successful?
Also another thing, it's going to be quite difficult for me to get weekdays off, as it was quite difficult to get the 7th off of work, so when the training starts do they allow you to train at the weekend or do you have to do it during the week? And are all the uniform fitting sessions etc. during the week too or can you get these arranged for the weekend? Just so I know what to expect as well.
Thanks for your time!

Have you not been given the training dates yet?

they say you should have your fitness test 8 weeks before start date. so if our training starts on 18th june, if my calculations are correct then we should have our fitness test on the 23rd april

Expect to have to take some time off work, short answer.
Long answer in response to some of the questions above:
1. It is as hard as you are unfit, really, do some phys training, farlec, basic press ups and sit ups and you should be fine.
2. 2. Yes you will find out at the end if you have passed or not, if you are worried you can book an assessment beforehand, basically the exact same test but not pass or fail.
3. You will progress on to your training actually starting.
4. Most of the training, ie the Law module is mainly during the week, but that said they might have some weekend courses coming up, best ask recruitment the dates they will have a much better idea than us. Uniform fitting is normally done during an interview/ medical date as well.
Lastly good luck
