How many Epaulettes & number sets did you get on Tues?

I got 1 pair off epps to go on the black shirt with...

3 pairs of numbers and 6 crowns.

So...

1 set of numbers for the loose epps to put on the black shirt,

1 set for the black fleece

1 set for the fluorescent jacket......

... but then I got an extra 9 and six extra 2's...... ??? am I missing something? should there be an extra loose set of epps and number set for the white shirt?

Clearly I wasn't at your parade on Tuesday but I can possibly help. You seem to have all the epaulettes you will need and just some spare numbers. I have some spare.

The smaller epaulettes you will switch between your black shirt and your white, however you will not need your white shirt again until attesting. You should be getting some stitched epaulettes, which kind of makes the pinned sets redundant - you'll get one set of small stitched for your shirt / stabby, a stitched slip over set for your fluorescent and then an extra black slip over set to go over your large epaulettes (without the numbers) for your fleece. Thus making the number pins obsolete.

Confused?

Yes :p Ah, thanks.

So I still need to go ahead and push some pins through that lovely fluorescent fabric

I can't imagine the embroidered ones looking better than the nice shiny metal numbers :p

But you won't have to worry about them going missing, being upside down, in the wrong order etc etc.

Not that you would do any of those things anyway of course. :p

I think the embroidered ones look pretty smart myself.

I think they are also safer as well.

They do look smart, the slip on ones are printed with like a foamy rubbery substance, you get a black and set and a fluorescent set, they look good too.

Ah so once attested we get lovely embroidered eppauletts? Nice. Do we get a pair for each top?
Otherwise - for example - if I put my fleece on I need to change the eppaulettes over

Foolishly I thought fitting eppaulettes would be a quick job. Maybe because I'm fussy, maybe because I was getting sucked into Friends on TV the little job took me some time.

I still need to turn my trousers up. I have my wonder web :D

The Kiwi Parade Gloss Prestige polish has a beautiful shine! I got mine in Tesco. It's well worth the money. I've used Kiwi polish for years but never used the prestige one before.

You should get the embroidered ones during training. You'll get one set for your shirt and then a larger set for your fleece.

It's a message :D ah I'll stop there. This could easily go :D we don't want that to happen. Well I should get back to the kitchen table - I'm scribbling all over my notes on PACE (personal notes for reference, not doodling :D ).

firstly the main drawback of those nice silver pin numbers is that they will brake off quite often.

Secondly I only received my embroided numbers about 3 month after my CONFIRMATION and slip on ones yesterday (over a year late)...

but I got them now and I believe that slip on rulez

You could be wrong - it could be 3 nines you have left - far more police friendly.
