Sure we have a whole load of threads for little bits and pieces about certain PS3 games or which console is better, but I figured we could do with one to discuss anything and everything related to computer/console gaming in one place.

So what are you playing now?

What genre of games to you tend to prefer?

What's your best game of all time?

Did you ever manage to save the princess, or is she still in another castle? :D

I'm currently playing Red Dead Redemption on the PS3, and so far it is an absolutely brilliant game with lots of freedom to it. Will probably take me a while to complete too.

But my favourite game of all time still has to be Final Fantasy IX on the original Playstation.

Took me back to simpler times when compared to the modern gaming world and i'm loving it

I finished the story mode on MW2 the other week too. Brilliant game, but a tad short for my liking. Although I suppose it is primarily intended as a multiplayer game really.

I can recommend 'Army of Two - The 40th Day' if you like your shooters. It's great fun.

I got part-way through RDR before lending it to a friend at work. Haven't played it again, I found it got a bit repetitive and not enough stuff to interact with inbetween missions.

Oh, another game that's good for a laugh is Mod Nation Racers. Brilliant for a bit of silly online racing in a sort of 'Crash Team Racing' style.

I just chose to download Crash Team Racing from the PS Store instead

Takes me back to Uni days, and it was retro then!

Another one of my most favourite games of all time!

I can't even imagine how many hours/days I've spent on that game huddled around a small TV with some mates in the past. Time well spent if you ask me!

I'm not really into any gaming but reading this post about megadrive has bought back lovely memories of early 90s gaming! I think there will have to be a download of Sonic for iPod tonight! If however I also end up playing my fingers to the bone I will be personally blaming you!

Something that made me feel seriously old was when I was training and having to take details from kids for confiscating alcohol and they were saying stuff like their d.o.b. was in 1994! I was like WTF!! I should have said I was playing Sonic while you were having your nappies changed! I've always felt like the baby wherever I have worked now I feel like someone's mum!

Mega Drive was ruled for me by Streets of Rage and Golden Axe.

Awesome gaming. Man I miss childhood and not having responsibility.

Golden Axe? Is that the one where you could ride dinosaur-like things?

Going back a few years I think that I was a giant Mortal Kombat fan. Great fun, but comparing it to games in the same genre now...it wasn't that good really! :D

And just notice its a new thread with questions asked! I recently picked up a PSP go for my travels and am loving 'little big planet'. Its taking me back to PS2 days as well playing Gran tourismo. I'm amazed how much they can pack into a little thing!

At home I use a 360 and mostly am playing MW2 online and UFC10, both great games. Playing 'The force-unleashed' as well, its good fun but a bit limited. Red for dead may be my next buy.

I bought a mega drive oldies disk for my 360. It was fun for about an hour playing all the old games then I just got bored! Gaming has moved on so much...

When i was a kid all those 19 years ago (5 at the time) i used to play with my mams old fuzzy felts when i went to my grans house she had a brown sofa that the fuzzy felts stuck to the back of so i would spend hours making pictures on the back of it.

And i still have a thing for lego these days

Got loads of Star Wars lego in my parents loft, it's still ace.

I'm a PC man myself (don't hate me), currently on Eveonline and Company of Heroes, best RTS ever.

PC, my gaming choice to, mine's getting on a bit now and can't handle the new games that have been released.
