Are there any other gamers out there having trouble keeping up with the current spate of great game sequels being released?
Just recently I've completed Deus Ex: Human Revolution & Batman: Arkham City. Now I've got Assassin's Creed: Revelations ready to go and then Skyrim waiting in the wings to be played afterwards.
Not that I'm complaining mind you!
Good plan starting Skyrim last becuase you will live on it
Ditto. My PCs specs would have been considered impressive 2-3 years ago, could only play the BF3 beta at about 10fps! Technology to moves too fast, relative to whats comes in my wallet!
I've given up all other games and have started Skyrim. It's quite a big game isn' it?
Even after hours of gameplay I'm still surprised by how massive and in-depth Skyrim actually is. I'm currently at level 45 I don't find the minor objectives boring at all, which is a hell of an achievement considering how many quests there actually are.
Plus the voice acting is great and doesn't make me want to stick pencils in my ears. Which is also good.
I'm gagging to play BF again. It is the single best game i've ever played. The online gameplay...just wow. MW3 has nothing on it, and I was a COD player beforehand.
If anyone likes epic real-time strategy games then I'd recommend a mod for Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance called Forged Alliance Forever.
Basically the original developers have long since abandoned the upkeep of Supreme Commander and the multiplayer system was rubbish. These guys have made all kinds of improvements/bug fixes/balance tweaks etc and added an online multiplayer lobby, map sharing system, and an awesome instant replay system where you can observe games that are currently going on between other players or have recently finished. You even get an overall rank based on the games you've won or lost, and there are other smaller mods integrated into the system to choose from, so you can set up a game that uses lots of cool extra units or has objectives like King of the Hill.
You just need to have Supreme Commander Forged Alliance (which can be had on Steam for £9.99) and you can download and install the mod for free from http://www.faforever.com/
Here's a guy who's watching the replay of a match and giving us his commentary :
