has anyone got any hints and tips for keeping body armour smelling/looking clean and fresh between washing the covers

It doesn't tend to smell to be honest. Just make sure it is stood upright between uses, even if in your locker.

Take the cover off and wash it.

Armor will smell of sick after every use. OR iif you get extremely warm during a shift.
The micro wicking tshirts dont help either...its a smell you will have never smelt before.

Cant say mine smells of sick to be honest

Mine always used to pick up the smell of cigarettes, when people were smoking around me. It was quite offputting.
