Can anyone explain what goes on/what tests they do at the medical? I thought it was a brief sit down with one of the force nurse but recruitment tell me they have to get a doctor in and it takes about an hour. It's not a 'drop your trousers' setup is it?

You'll get your height and weight measured to calculate your BMI, a drugs test, hearing and eyesight tests and then at the end you'll lie down on a bed whilst the doc pokes about your abdomen to check for signs of a hernia and other fairly basic stuff. When I had my last medical there was no trouser dropping involved.

Thanks, best cur down on the bacon butties for a bit then. It's not one of those cut a clump of hair off and make you look like you lost a fight with the mower drug tests is it?
