How long from your day 2 till you get a start date.

Also vetting regarding debts how clean does it have to be, I aint got no CCJ or anything like that just a mobile contract I had, that I'm now paying off.

How do you hear if you have passed or failed day 1?

Had mine 2 weeks ago today. Been trying to check up on the process of my application on the website for the past 2 weeks and the site keeps saying 'page not found' when I log in. Emailed Hr a week ago and they reconise there is a problem, all they advise is keep trying to log in every day.

So do they contact you by post/text/phone/email to let you know?

However I do believe I failed day 1 so I don't expect good news as I am sure I would have heard by now.

You will hear by post either way...give it time,it takes a while there are hundreds of people on your position.

I've had no communication by post since my letter saying they'd accepted my application.

Keep checking your e-mail, and check your spam box, that's where my Day 2 pack ended up. They said if you haven't heard after 2-3 weeks contact HR, don't rely on the web tracker.

Passed Day 2 yesterday. Seeing the uniform on is bit odd isn't it!?

I've been away for 10 days and it has been over a month since day 1 and I have heard nothing and still can't check my application online. I did have a missed call everyday last week on my mobile that I left at home whilst away (no number showed though), but nothing in the post yet to tell me that I passed/failed day 1.

My email I sent just before I went away had a reply to say someone will be in touch. So I guess I will wait

They've sent me nothing in the post except the letter accepting my application. When I spoke to a member of HR they basically said all communication would be by e-mail. Have you checked your spam box? That's where my day 2 pack ended up.

Hi guys i have my day 1 on friday at last! i know they have got rid of the roleplays and its now just an interview and written but do i still need the Westshire centre pack as i havent been sent one? Also i have got 8 examples 2 for each comptancy for the interview and have been practicing the wrtten is there anymore i can prepare for? thanks

Yes you do need the Westshire pack, send an email to the HR guys to request it. They forgot to send me mine as well. Sound like you are preparing well, good luck

Interesting, they must have changed it again, since July!

I had my Day 1 on Monday, and the Westshire pack is def NOT needed for the written exam.

Hello everyone!

I thought I'd stop by and say hello with my first post.

I just had my Day 1 at Hendon yesterday and fingers crossed I will get through both days and become a regular here on the forum. I thought the written test was fairly easy but not sure about the interview. Thought I got along well with both interviewers but had to be led through several answers by their questions.

I thought the whole process went very smoothly - they clearly have a lot of people going through the system. The most waiting we did was at the end for our vetting forms to be checked.

DDOSam - I don't think we met (unless you were one of the three guys I was sitting and talking to for quite a while, in the classroom waiting for our vetting forms to be checked) but maybe we'll have the same Day 2 if we get through Day 1..
