I remember reading something online (another force website) about retired dogs, but obviously they're gonna be popular and so really hard to get hold of. Personally I wouldn't want an ex police dog as a pet - they're working dogs and I can imagine they would be quite difficult to handle.

Although great for guarding your house!!! Not sure get in touch with dog section and as them is your best bet.
