For those of you wo are unaware what folio editions are please see this link http://www.foliosociety.com/

I have the following books for sale all unread as I continue to clear out my flat They are immaculate hardback books complete with slip cases to protect them.

Agatha Christie Miss Marple Stories

British Myths and Legends Box set containing three books Heroes and Saints,Marvels and Magic, History and Romance

The Greek Myths Box set containing two books

An InnKeeper's diary by John Fothergill

The Plums of PG Wodehouse

The Best After dinner stories

I'm open to sensible offers can provide photos if required and postage will be be at cost. I would be willing to consider an offer for all of them

I'd been in print almost 30 years and never found out what that 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 was - could you explain please?

You can pick up almost any book and it's in there.

David, I'm disappointed in you.

The "Printers Key" signifies the print run number. If you have a book with 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 then it's a book from the 1st print run (not necessarily a first edition). If the book has the key "10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2" then it's from the 2nd print run and so on.

Letters can also be used, and every time the book is printed (that's a print run, not each and every book) the lowest number/letter is removed.

Blow me. I never knew that.

10 doesn't seem a terribly high number though. Some books can be reprinted dozens of times.
