Hi all

I have just attested as a Special Constable with the Metropolitan Police and am currently at Loughborough University for another 6 weeks. I wondered if anyone knows a contact within the Leicestershire Constabulary that I could contact with regards to doing a few observer shifts around the area to see how the Leicestershire Constabulary work and also assist in my personal development as a Special Constable.

Your help would be most appreciated.

Approx 12 months ago I enquired about observer shifts through L'boro LPU (as a MoP) only to be told that Leics. no longer operate observer shifts anymore however it may be different if you are serving and attested etc. Throw a PM my way and I can provide a name for you to try contacting at Loughborough.

Your best bet may be to use the online contact form (like I did) as this gets sorted and sent to the most appropriate person in the LPU
