ACPO Guidance on Policing of Public Sexual Activity

ACPO has produced guidance on policing Public Sex Environments - areas where legal, consensual sexual activity takes place. Historically the police service has done a poor job of dealing with such matters in a way which acknowledges that in most cases no offences are committed. As a result, some sections of the community, particularly the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender sections, have had a raw deal.

This guidance (reprinted by the Met into a handy leaflet) sets out the ACPO guidance. Very useful information and something all patrol officers should be aware of.
